Muscovy red wattles appearance

When do the red wattles around the bill of the Muscovies start to appear. I have bought some and I am starting to think that they are Mullard since I don't see amy wattles coming out after 4 weeks.

Do you have pics?

My avatar is a young Muscovy. In the pic he's around four months old. When they're young, it can be hard to tell. There is a 'line' that goes around the beak and gets thicker as they age.

Another Muscovy, around three-four months at the time I believe.

Thanks ! I can post pictures later when I come back to the farm. But since they're 1 month old only, I presume that it can be quite normal. I tought this would appear quite early. Thanks again !

Ok. Yes, it would be pretty normal. Males also get them more quickly than females. You're very welcome!
