My Muscovy's love dried meal worms, good quality dog dry dog feed, and 6 way scratch. This is only a treat in the afternoon they also get a whole grain feed. They also love romaine lettuce and other greens.

thank you! I made the joke when I got them one sounds like a panting dog lol but I didn't actually excpect dog food on that list!! gonna look into scratch they have nibbled at the feed but my chickens are always brats to new comers and muscovys seen non confrontational

They will learn but you should have multiple feeding places so they can get to the feed and water. My Muscovy's give a wide berth to my one game/game bantam rooster. It's quiet funny. Oh my gosh I buy feed for my dogs at Sam's club Pea and Salmon and I am not kidding I believe they would eat only dog feed if I gave only that to them.

they do mostly might have to grab another bucket! for water but ive been going out there and throwing feed on the ground. ive gotten to the point now where if the chickens are occupied enough the khakis I have will come up and eat out of my hand! can other chickens and ducks have dog food? I wonder if I can mix that with my normal feed?

My chickens love it too just have to make sure the kibble is small enough for them to eat. Both my geese will eat it also I just mix all the treats together for them but my Muscovy drake likes to come inside and eat his dog food out of one of the dogs bowls.

I’m a fairly new duck mom but I have a Pekin, Swedish, and my dear Muscovy.
All I know is my Muscovy is a oinker! I have to feed treats separately from my other pair coz he (at least I think the Muscovy is a drake) will eat them all and take my hand with it! Loves peas, lettuce, carrots, meal worms- pretty much anything!
But aside from that Bonbon is the model pet duck. He likes pets and will come sit with me and love nibble. Very friendly and very entertaining!

Enjoy your new additions!!:love
