I have been wondering about the list of breeds for the team in 2 years - why an Aussie?  are you taking Australian Shepherd or Australian Cattledog?  isn't that breed smaller than the rest of the dogs?

It's not realy the size that matters. It realy depends on we're u love and how u train them, I love this quote:
"It's not the Size of the dog in the Fight, it's the Fight in the dog that matters."

I have my mine set on breeds that I like and can get my hands on. It just also happens I love my long haired dogs.
I know hunting dog breeders but they won't sell me pups cuz there gunna be sled dogs. So I'm going to get my sibs from breeders and maybe a lab from a breeder, but the rest from the shelter.

haha. i love fluffy dogs too!

My concern was about running a small dog with larger dogs - using such a mix of sizes on one team. My hubby is about a foot taller than I am, I can keep up when he walks, but for every three steps he takes, I have to take 4. I tire out a lot faster just trying to keep up.
My Irish setter was 3 inches taller than my English setter at the shoulder. The English really had to work hard to keep up when they were playing, and tired out quicker. The English is 3 years younger than the Irish.
