Are they the same as lion's mane? Or are they different?

Same Genus. Lion's mane is Hericium erinaceus.

Nice find . Never saw them in the fall . A friend once found what looked like a white looking morel . It was some type of stinkhorn .

Those are some kind of stinkhorn.......I think they are only eaten down south....
