Musical chairs....I mean nests

I think you got good advice from the posters. In one coop I have 16 nest boxes and most of the eggs are in a few. I have one girl who won't lay in a nest box but lays her egg in one corner of the coop on the floor. I do have golf balls in all of the nest boxes.

Just for fun take those golf balls and put 4 in a nest that has not been used and none in the fav nest. My girls went to the nest with 4 balls, a few days later one girl went back to the fav nest.

Thanks to all for the advice.
My EE started laying yesterday. All eggs in the favored nest. Good to know it's ok if they lay elsewhere.

How exciting it is to have new eggs added to the regulars!
