Nothing worked. They are too far gone.

My boys say lets shoot them.

I say take them to the woods and let them go.

Hubby says off with their heads.

Agreed. If you need to put an animal down, do it as quickly and humanely as possible. Given the options listed above, off with their heads is the most humane. In my opinion, it's part of being a responsible animal owner.

I completely agree. It's your responsibility to help them die humanely. Letting them die in woods alone would only be easier for you.
