Not yet; it's kind of my last resort since I won't know if the people are chicken lovers or not. I gave three of my birds to a neighbor and even he didn't care for them well enough because they were killed by weasels within 3 weeks of getting them!

I'm looking for someone who loves birds and takes care of them like I do. I guess that will be hard to find and I might not be able to be as picky as I want.

But thank you for your suggestion. I will probably do that very soon.

Avrilon, you sound like me. I, too, love all my feathered friends. It was difficult to give my sweet little polish rooster away. He is in a great place near me and I know he is being well taken care of. Check with your local 4H clubs and FFA. Also, I found that pet sitters know a lot of people who may want your girls. If I did not live in California, I would take 2. They are beautiful You must have access to a computer or the internet. Google "Chicken rescue" in your area. You may have to drive a couple hours but it is worth it. Praying that the universe comes through for you as it did for me with Peter. Wishing you my best.

Btw, all my chickens are just pets! Not for show, meat or eggs. I am a vegan so I just give away the eggs. I handle my chickens when ever I can! They are all tame! I LOVE chickens! They are my life! I would do anything for them! I dream to someday open a chicken rescue. Just wanted to let you know that if I had them they would be in good hands! I am so sorry you have to give up your chickens anyways. I would never get over it if I lost my flock. I cry and cry every time I lose just 1 chicken. But each chicken is not JUST one chicken they are more than that! Sorry again! I sent you an email and a PM! The email has my phone #!

Please PM me and I will give you my phone # and we can talk it over. I would love to take them! I promise they won't be killed. My flock has Attack Rooster Security Co. lol!
