I have a two month old cockerel that was supposed to be a white Leghorn. He had spots when I got him (mistakenly believing he was a she) and has become more colorful as he ages. He still looks like a leghorn, mostly white with a light grey flight feather on each wing and now he has buff lacing on a few of his feathers. The breeder has white, buff, and Columbian leghorns along with many other chicken breeds.

Ok. Thank you. Will he stay this way or will his colors change?

*Sigh* Sadly I will not ever see his adult color. Although he is a very snuggly chicken he is one of four cockerels out of five supposedly female chicks. He fights with my blue and red laced EE cockerel.

Scratch that. He is the nicest of the four and the other three went back today. Parm gets to stay here! The americana boys I had are going to replace their fathers as primary breeders, as the farmer I got them from has an egg eating problem in the americana pen

It looks like the offspring of a White Leghorn and a Buff Leghorn cross. What color is his Legs and Ear Lobes?

Chris
