My 2 and half year old buff Brahma walks slow and always wants to hide or lay down

Diet is what she has always eaten dumour crumbles. Meal worm treats. I have been giving her some scrambled eggs to help with protein.

Hmm, I wonder if she has a deficiency or something neurological. I would get some B Complex and Vitamin E 400IU, and give 1/2 of a B Complex and one Vitamin E everyday, for a few weeks and see if there's any improvement. Keep giving her egg everyday as that will help her absorb more Vitamin E.

I have been giving her poultry cell vitamins. I will keep giving it to her

Help, almost 3 weeks my sweet girl is not getting better
She: eats well, drinks, and poops fine
I have her separated from the flock
No bumblefoot
Droopy tail
Flock jumps on her and pecks (hence I separated her)
I have given her vitamins (poultry cell)
Corrid (treated whole flock) day 2 today
Gave her safe guard Incase it was worms
Nothing working.
I do have antibiotics from a vet, trimethoprim. Not sure if I should try the antibiotics.

She is lethargic, walks slow, sometimes looses her balance not a lot, abdomin is normal.

I'd get extra Calcium into her just in case she's struggling to expel lash material or an egg.
Calcium Citrate+D3 once daily, aim for at least 300mg daily for a week.

I agree, I'd get B-Complex and give her 1/4 tablet daily along with 400IU Vitamin E.

Hard to know what's ailing her, if your vet can see her that would be good.

Her diet has not changed in 2.5 years. Yes. She only takes a few steps the. Lays down and pants

I didn't know she was panting, how's your weather?
Does she have any purple tint to her comb and wattles?

With her tail down and lethargic appearance, I agree that I would try some calcium for a couple of days. She could have a reproductive disorder, and those can include salpingitis and internal laying, egg yolk peritonitis/coelomitis, or even cancer. Most if time we only learn the answers if they die, and we can do a necropsy to look at the internal organs. I hope that she starts to get better. Let us know how she gets along.

Weather is beautiful 70 degrees. She is on a prescription antibiotic from a vet. Today is day 3 on the vet med. Very little change. Vet said I should notice a difference by now. She seems so miserable

What antibiotic are you giving her? Did you try some calcium as well? As others said, that could help to expel lash egg material or even an egg if there is one. Is she eating and drinking. Wet chicken feed, egg, or rinsed tuna are some things to tempt her.

Aw, poor thing. I’m so sorry! Hopefully those antibiotics do something.
How is she doing now? The same?
