My 3 Month Rooster Sick or Just Drinking a Lot?

antibiyotik ona vermek isteyeceğiniz şey olmazdı

I would not give it to him.
Antibiotics should be given only in case you have evidence of bacterial infection and are sure about the kind of bacteria you are dealing with. Plus never give any medication you do not know the following about:

#is it safe and effective to use for the intended animal and problems
#brand name and ingredients
#exact producer's information about use and withdrawal period
# how it was stored
#expiration date
Yes actually I understand. But would giving even a small amount pose a serious risk? I was going to give a single dose, whether it helps or not. I just feel helpless and maybe it could work.

A little bit could actually put your chicken at risk. It'd be better to give a probiotic instead. Random doses of things would most likely make bad bacteria resistant to those antibiotics and make your chicken's immune system more at risk for other diseases while dosed.

How is your rooster doing?
Yes, he was fine. However, I gave him to an acquaintance who has many chickens and roosters. A week later, when I visited today, he had a small wound on his comb and had lost weight. What do you think I should do? I don't have space to take care of him properly; I was keeping him inside the house. Should I take him back home again?

Sounds like he's fighting for his spot in the pecking order. Taking him home without adequate space or environment for him wouldn't be good. He might've lost weight to being picky with food, anxiety, or not having his place established yet in that flock. Do you know their hen to rooster ratio? How many other roosters is he with or is he in a bachelor flock?

I think the man has a total of 2 roosters. But I guess he has around 40 to 50 hens. Not all the hens and roosters are in the same area. He separated some of them because they’re brooding. I think my rooster doesn’t have contact with the other roosters. He’s already staying in a separate place from them. My concern is that he might get sick or die. Wouldn't my home be a safer place for him? Wouldn't it be better to keep him until he grows more

Do you mean your rooster is separated from the main flock? That's actually the proper way to introduce new chickens to an existing flock.
He stays in a separate part of the flock where there are no roosters. However, I don't know if the caretaker ever puts him near the roosters during the day, even occasionally. I think he probably never sees the other roosters.

That's actually a good thing. Maybe I'm not understanding the problem . . .

As I mentioned, he lost weight and had a wound on his comb. I don't think it's normal for him to lose so much weight in just one week - I could clearly feel it when I held him. Also, when I visited and put him near the other chickens, they chased him. He doesn't seem happy there
