That said, I have a very expensive marans pullet, from not one but TWO disaster hatches. First power out, second temp spike to 134 degrees, ouch. Can't believe she hatched after that spike, even with help.

She's a costly little sucker but at LEAST she's a girl.

I got to watch it and SHE is so cute. I hope it's a pullet. I think all our silkies are worth a lot more to us than $1,400. I know I wouldn't sell mine for that. Well maybe their babies but mine are only going on 2 months so it will be a while before I get any eggs. LOL
