My Anconas got to be free and in the pond for the first time!

I thought for sure they wouldn't go to bed tonight in their pen....in fact, I had to fake them out pretending I had treats for them and then keep backing up until they were close to their pen, then I just got behind them and herded them in. I am hoping that tomorrow they will just go to bed!!!!

You guys should have seen my babies this morning when I let them out. They could NOT wait to get to the pond. To watch nine little Ancona duck butts waddling as fast as they can to the pond....OH MY! I melted into a puddle of nothing watching them.....I adore my ducks!

Little twerp nuggets.....It is pitch black out there.....there was NO way I was getting them tonight! I was so proud of them, too.......I am sad that I can't get them to bed tonight. Little twerps, I tell ya!
