She is adorable, she sounds like a real sweetie! I have never had one intentionally lay on my lap/arm, but I once gave one of my Aussie hens a hug and an egg shot out like it was fired out of a cannon! It was a nice egg, too, too bad it hit the concrete, LOL.
I am in central Illinois too, BTW. Howdy, neighbor!
