These are my eight babies that we hatched from eggs. The eggs came from my sons friend who has chickens. I have not seen the chickens that they came from but my son said that they are all different kinds and colors of chickens. Are all of my babies EE's ? We love them all and don't care what breed they are we are just curious. The black one is the only one that has a different type of comb from the rest. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I don't think any of them are EE. Were any of the eggs blue or green?

Chick #1 looks like a rock or leghorn
#2 looks like a game
#3 looks like a game, probably mixed with something LF like a buff orpington
#'s 4 & 5 look like a rocks or leghorns
#6 looks like a silver laced wyandotte
#'s 7 & 8 look like buff orpington, probably mixes (could be NHR)

You say that #6 is the only one with a different comb? So I assume all the others have straight combs? EE's usually (but not always) have pea combs, muffs, beards, green legs, or any combination. But they can look like just about anything

ETA that #2 could also be a brown leghorn.

Thank you for such a quick response. None of the eggs were blue or green:D
