My baby chick ate plastic

My chicks are 6 weeks and every few days I let them wonder my kitchen while I clean their brooder and today one of my chicks ate a piece of plastic probably about a 1’ to 1 1/2’ long. When will she pass this and/or what should I look out for if it’s causing blockage? Should I make a vet appt? Thank you in advance for your help!

Have they had any grit of any kind? If not I would give them some and that should help them break it down. They eat many things they shouldn't and seem to pass it ok. Just keep an eye out and make sure crop is emptying and not impacted.

Yes she has been eating ever since she ate the plastic and drinking. Thank you! I’ll definitely keep an eye on on her!
