My Baby Rheas have started Hatching!!!

My Baby Rheas have started Hatching!!! There are still 30 eggs to go. Out of seven babies, one died, I think mabye he might have been squashed... of the babies I have 4 whites and 2 greys. They are BREATH TAKING... these photos will make you want to buy Rheas!!! of the Adults, I have 2 male whites, 2 female whites and 2 female grays. So all the gray babies are split to white. More photos as they progress and more babies hatch.

The most interesting thing is.. the Male took all the broken egg shell out of the nest and placed them along the fence line. I guess so as not to attract ants to the nest??? VERY VERY Smart BIrds! Im very impressed. I cant wait for the babies to grow so i can release them into the pasture.
