OP, are you sure the egg-eating caused the puking and diarrhea? Freshly laid eggs shouldn't have anything in them that would make her sick--I feed raw eggs (cracked, frozen, too dirty to bother with, etc) to the dogs pretty often.

Eggs that are raw can give a dog salmonella poisoning and can result if keep doing it in a biotin deficiency. Dogs should never eat raw eggs. It will make the dog sick.

If hens not laying in nest boxes can train them to do it so Dog is not exposed to eggs. Must keep hens in house till risk of laying is over for the day. I have fenced coop/run so my hens can stay there till trained to lay in nest box. If lay in coop block that part of the coop and put eggs in nestbox to encourage use of nestbox. I did this and girls all lay in the nestbox. Then can let them out for the day if want to into yard or field.
