My Barred Rocks have finally started laying

I got them in like the last week of March.

And finally yesterday feeding treats and it was right there on the ground.Silly girls where all like hey whats that and pecking at it.I was like hey no leave that alone,yes they ignored me....

First from left to right
Barred rock egg,OEG egg,med store egg,large store egg


Soon i wont have to ever buy store eggs agian

Yeah for you!!! How awesome! That is so eggciting!!!

How old is she? We have a BR and she's got her comb and wattles in already, but no eggs....just wondering how much longer I have to wait!

It will be fun to watch the eggs change and get bigger within the next few months! Keep posting those pix!

Well i have 6 barred rocks They are about 5 months old,not sure wich one laid it though.
