Yeah, looks like he has leg mites. Don't be surprised if you hens end up with scaley leg mites, too. I bet that rooster has not had so much attention in his life. I just love the look in his eye!

As stated in your other thread, it really looks like scaly leg mites. And it will spread to the hens unless you treat all of them and the coop, bedding etc. He's a GREAT looking roo, so yes, he's worth the time and trouble!

Your signature says he's a RIR.... I think he's a mix of many breeds, possibly a Comet mix. Either way he's a great guy and so lucky you rescued him!
