Feather loss is one indication of mites. Until you actually observe the feather picking, you won't know for sure it's not caused by mites.

She seems to pick there when she’s stressed in the past. When I put no peck on it stops. I checked for mites and eggs under their wings and around their vents. I didn’t see anything, but will check their roost bar tonight. Thanks for the tip.
