My black Cochin has only laid 2 eggs out of 2 wks, is she done?

You only had her for two weeks? Somehow I missed that part LOL That could very well be the reason...I know my two welsummers stopped laying for a month when I first got them.

OH, okay...see I'm learning...my Production Red is 16 wks and so I got this other chickens and they were already laying, the two oldest ones so I went from having just one hen to two and some teens and babies...lol.

Okay, I've got another question for you...the two teens...one was sitting in the nesting box and the other one was roosting on it. Is that a sign that they're getting close to laying? My Production Red doesn't even go near the nesting box yet...

Can someone tell me about the two that are interested in the nesting box or are they???
