I got 2 baby muscovies almost a year ago and I noticed one had blue eyes. Every muscovy and every picture of one I've seen has blue eyes. The only blue eyed ones I've seen are the white muscovies.

I named one Natalie and one Clyde, but when they got older I found out their genders were the opposite of what I thought. I kept their names the same however. Clyde flew away one night and never came home tho :( Here are some pictures of Natalie. He is a proud dad now (even tho he hasn't fertilized any eggs cuz our females are too small) he likes to adopt all of the babies born. Today we got a bunch of ducklings on a clearance sale and he is quite happy. As soon as I put them down he ran over and greeted all 16 of them by doing the happy hiss, head bob and tail wag. He still protects all his oldest kids too, he's such a sweetie

Can't edit the post for some reason but I forgot to put that everytime he sees me he walks up doing the little muscovy dance+song and gets so excited to see me. He always needs some sort of attention. Once my duck hatched babies so I was kneeling to the ground looking at them. The whole time he was hitting me in the back with his head like "pay attention to me not them!!" So I picked up a baby and showed him he was all happy about it. He's such a cutie haha. He's the only duck we have that lets me pet him, in fact he loves it. I'll go sit on the ground and he comes up to me to be petted. I'm still trying to figure out his favorite pet pet spots tho. Ik my fav is that chunky neck 😂😂
