My broody got on the wrong nest

Yeah they need to come with a warning label-

Silkies are prone to suicide even in 2000$ predator proof pens, you have been warned...

I have some in the brooder that have developed springs on their feet. I open the top and they look like popcorn in there. Head banging silkies.
 
One of the eggs had pipped this afternoon, & it is only day 20, so I guess they didn't get too cold. I'll post another update once I know how many actually hatch.
 
I knew of a chicken one time that was sitting on the wrong nest while her chicks were hatching by themselves.

And this wasn't a silkie. I returned her to the proper nestbox.
