Hi im new here and to the chicken life... i have a question about my broody silky... lately I haven't seen her come out of her coop since she has been broody...in all honesty I haven't been out much to catch her outside... but in occasions I peak outside and I just don't see her eat, drink or do her business... so my question is should I trust that she will come out on her own to eat, drink and the rest or should I take her out and keep an eye on her to make sure she does what she has to? Any advice is appreciated TIA😊

Try to feel her crop to see if there is food in it. Especially check in the morning, because she might be eating first thing.

If you find food in her crop at some times and not at others, you know that she is eating, and you know that she is digesting what she is eating.
