You are a sweetheart to rescue it though. That is one lucky bunny!

What a sweetheart! That is how I got our last pup, Sophie. A friend saw them throw her out of the car and saved her. Her little sibling didn't get that lucky. Her little sibling's body is laying along the road about 1/4 mile from where they threw Sophie out. Should throw the book at people who do this stuff.

Some people just think that an animal can survive out in the wild and release them if they can't find a place for them to go. But, to put them out beside the road is just not being a responsible pet owner.
