Our Applebees is awful too!
I ordered a medium rare steak, got a well done. Like beef jerky. By the time we got someone's attention, Husband was done eating. No refund, no apologies. Blegh! We won't eat there!
Now Ruby Tuesday, I'll eat there anytime.

One of the worst experiences we had was at Outback. My husband (bf at the time) came to visit me for the weekend and we went there for lunch on Sunday before he had to go home. It was completely dead in there, we were the only customers. We got our appetiser fairly quickly then waited, waited, waited for our steaks. We waited for two hours without seeing a soul. We actually wondered if they were being robbed and all held hostage in the back. We couldn't even find our waitress to tell her we were leaving. Finally she brought our food out as we were leaving. She went back to the kitchen, and came back out with our food in to go boxes and the check

Thank you everyone for your warm and supportive words. It makes me
feel so much better that other people have similar issues with mayonnaise
and other burger builders.

It was hard sleeping last night. I kept have this recurring nightmare where
I couldn't move my arms and was being forced to eat mayo. It was horrible,
just horrible.

Now I have to go to work in this condition. No sleep, nervous ticks all
over my body, and a compulsion to scream that sounds like a duck
honking. Oh the humanity...


I called my shrink and she gave me an appointment to start therapy. The
soonest she could get me in was November of 2010. I hope I can make it
that long.

I think you got what you deserved. Firstly, if you are going to subject your body to crummy fast food then suck it up and eat the mayo. Secondly, mayo is made from EGGS. Eat it with pride.
