ah BIrd.... my sweet manly man of a rooster Bird... I couldnt take a picture of him on my lap with me. I was to shocked that he sat down to get the camera.

Leg is doing great! good enough that i hobbled down to the coop yesterday and gave them some frozen watermellon and frozen yogurt.

It seems I now have a grey squirrel, chipmonk, and rabbit to contend with. all 3 were in the pen with us today. the little bunny came up to me about foot away wanting to chow. Girls didnt even care. The chipmunk ran right past me, the bunny, and the girls heading for the drop door. (gee, hungry you think??? Little turd ball). the grey squirrel caused a little commotion with Bird, but eventually they ignored him. I feel like Elly May Clampet or Mother Nature here....
