It would be cool if someone would organize a thread for making actual friends outside of BYC. But then you have to think about those people who are on forums for the wrong reasons. Oh well it would be worth a shot anyway.

I hear that the state threads can really help locals connect. I've actually found a few chickens from a real nice lady on there.

That's neat. It feels so weird though nobody "really" knows each other here. I could be talking to little kid or someone way beyond my years. And then it's hard to know what everyone means when they say things. They could be mad and you don't realize it. I prefer talking to people in real life. By the way on AT&T there's this commercial that always comes on about how nice it is to visit Colorado is all that true? From the pictures it looks gorgeous but the only time I've never been there except once when it was snowing a lot and I went skiing down a mountain.

Yeah, there's certain things that internet cannot convey. Yeah, Colorado is beautiful, but a lot depends on when you catch it. Winter can last up to 8-9 months for some parts of the state, while others are a desert.

They are doing well they're just scared of people.... My barred rocks weren't like that.

Usually right before they lay they'll become a bit skittish. Or at least mine were. I just picked them up daily, fed them treats, and they realized that us humans aren't so bad.
