I have five little chicks That are eight days old and one of them has a twisted ankle as you can see in the pictures. He is the smallest in the brood and has a hard time walking. Should I tape his foot up? He is so tiny and sweet and I just don’t know what to do to help him! Any info, experience, advice is greatly appreciated

This is a really good site for leg and foot problems, scroll down to chick shoes for curled or twisted toes: https://sites.google.com/a/poultrypedia.com/poultrypedia/poultry-podiatry
That may or may not be treatable, if it's a bone deformity it may not move. If you can manually put the foot in a more normal position without causing pain or injury then splinting or shoeing may improve it, the longer it stays that way, the more permanent it will be. Good luck.

Thank you for the link! So I taped the little guy up yesterday and he did not like it at all but we are going to stick with it and see what happens Thank you for the encouragement and info!
