THat's the way mine was too. I have to admit, I did not find any of the product we mentioned here within a driving distance, or that were in stock to ship at the time. I just did saline twice a day, once every 2-3 days I put a DAB of bacitracin ointment around the eyelidhoping to get a bit in the eye, and the tea once every few days...the cloudiness never did clear up. She's still blind in that eye but the swelling and infection did go away. I am really convinced that either she was scratched shortly after birth and I didnt notice it until a day or two later, or she was born blind in that eye. She's had NO problems adapting until today actually. We let this bunch of chicks (now 16weeks old) out with the big 1 yr olds just before bed this evening, and our big 3 yr old rooster who rules the roost kind of gave her the run around chasing her and grabbing the back of her neck with his beak from behind (I'm assuming he was trying to show his dominace over the group and mount her?) and the poor thing tried to get away and with her bad eye and the unfamiliar area in the near dark with the crazed roo after her she ran into the fence a few times and almost smack into a board til she finally got away from him...poor girl. But seriously...she has no problems and is all the more loveable for it.
