My chick has pasty butt!!!

What should I do for my chick with pasty butt?

take the chick and while holding it in one hand, run warm water and use your hand to rub water on the poo until it gets soft. It will start coming off quickly and try not to pull any butt feathers while doing so. Good luck!

Then, rub the vent with olive oil or vasoline.

Also check and see if the brooder is too small and too hot. Pure, clean water only for drinking.
