Hi everyone I'm new to this forum. I've been hatching 28 chicks since april 12th and I noticed that number 12 left a lot of blood over the incubator, but he's running around his box right now. I havent helped any since the first and third chick that where dried up in their egg (but are healthy and still alive today) then last night chick number 14 hatched with a large blood sack that he popped and left blood all over the incubator, I didn't help him and now the sack has dried up and turned black but it looks like intestines he has intestines hanging out? He's been in the incubator since 10pm last night. What is it and what should I do?:(

Give him time. Sometimes what looks like intestines is the yolk still being absorbed.

Fingers crossed for you chick.

Sadly, he didnt make it, he was very weak. It didnt dry up at all and since my post he was in the incubator for 7 hours. We let him go and buried him :( but now I have 15 other little chicks to worry about this happening to.
