So, I was watching my chickens this morning and my Buff was running with several from the flock hot on her trail. To my disgust, she had caught a mouse. It was dead, but didn't seem to be torn apart or anything. I'm worried something can be transmitted to her if she ate enough.

Do any of you have experience with this? What should I look for (if anything)? Thanks!

I don't know the specifics about mice. Other than your lucky and it's one less mouse. But for future reference I have read that putting a charcoal piece of wood, Hardwood, you want to do more research online, in their pen or someplace they could reach is useful because if they eat it or pick at it wow a toxin has not yet gotten into their system it will nullify it to some degree. As I said I don't remember the specifics I'm sure you could do more research
