My chicken has a problem with her back feathers

Hello,
My Bluebell chicken is having a continued problem with her back feathers. Whenever she poops it sticks onto her back feathers and is clogging up her vent hole. Any suggestions? I already tried cleaning her feathers with warm water, but it just keeps happening.

I had the same issue with one of my cuckoo marans. I read on this site somewhere that the owner would just grab the crusty poo feathers and pull them out. It sounded a little extreme to me at first, but it actually worked really well. I just put on some gloves, firm pinch of affected feathers, and a snap of the wrist, all the poopy feathers came out and I haven't had a problem since. The bird didn't seem to mind at all. It did take a couple tries to get it all, though.
