Oh my
How on earth do they manage with that all inside for days or months. My lady is now laying again which is good she seems okay apart from her feathers seem a bit scraggy and she sometimes stands with her wings lifted up.
I had 24 ladies but found I did not have enough time so I let them go to good homes and just kept the 5 odd balls incase they got the chop. I know Soft as marshmallow me
I have this one chicken which is really weird I call her Milly, she does not lay, has feathers missing as she cannot prean with her beak, waddles like a duck, large crest, crossed beak and sometimes cocker-doodle-doo but she was supposed to be a hen. I love her though she come when called and make some funny sweet noises.

) I do not know how the chickens function with crude in their abdomen like that. The said thing is that I think my girl is laying internally again. So I will have to take to have the surgery again and then this time I want them to perform a hysterectomy so she doesn't have to lay anymore. I don't want her for the eggs (although it would be nice) but they have a forever home here until they go to chickie heaven.
