My chicken has red eye and it frequently closes its eye

You can put it directly in the eye. I would try twice a day. I would also put it in the water to make sure the other chickens do not get it. I take an eyedropper full everyday myself. I have also used it to cure a respiratory infection in a cat. It's great stuff. I bought the equipment to make my own. Costs about 40-50 dollars but makes a lot and you use just a little. I have friends who bring me their empty bottle and I refill for free. Look it up on the internet. Good luck.

I think its condition is getting worse-

It is frequently closing its other eye (left eye) even though it isn't red.

I was wondering that if I don't put any ointment in its eye, will it get better? Because I think its hard to access these ointment here. Thanks.

Go to the drugstore or supermarket and get some triple antibiotic ointment and put it in her eye. I've used that on quite a few eyes already and it works.
