Some kind of implant. As for the internal laying, there is something you can do to the hen to cause her to stop laying, I don't remember exactly what, but it is very expensive. This would be for after, if you can, clear up the issue. I'm glad she is doing better! Hopefully she can become completely better soon!
Is she eating more and more each day?
I am so sorry that after everything the story ended so sadly!Update: So, I went camping with my family a few days after my last post. Before we went, oh, She was doing amazing!! She was walking around, talking and she would go outside and lay in the sun. I believe she had a brain injury for that day I found her under a roost, it seemed one of the hens was being nasty and pushed her off. Anyway, when I came back the person who watched her forgot to put her back in her cage that night(I counted her as disabled for she wandered quite often.) When the person went to check on her in the morning she somehow found her way to a small oil pan with left over oils in it. That night we came home, the person told me what had happened and oh, everything plummeted so quickly. She couldn't get up anymore, she lost feeling in her legs, her comb faded.. It was so sad. Before anymore pain entered her body I showed the other hens she was passing, let them say goodbye and quickly and carefully rung her neck. It was my only option.. After EVERYTHING I struggled for she passed away. I could tell she was hurting, she was talking for a small bit before her health plummeted, It was as if she wanted to say goodbye to me. Anyway, I hope all of you have found somethings to take away from this? And thank you all so much for the support!!!
