My chicken was attacked by the flock. Straining to poop almost three weeks latter?

UPDATE: She's not looking good at all. Sitting in her tote, barely breathig. Been in the same spot all day. Massaged her crop a bit. Not sure what else to do for her at this point. Feels like I'm going to loose her. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I’m sorry that she still is having problems. I would not empty her crop again since it could cause her to aspirate on crop contents. What is she eating now? Check the crop first thing in the morning to see if it has emptied some. Has the crop felt squishy and full, or firm/doughy? Azygous has a good article and knowledge about crop disorders. This is it:

Acidified copper sulfate may be used to treat sour crop when other methods have failed. Dosage is 1/4 tsp per gallon of water for 5 days. Here is where you can find it:

I pulled her food last night, as I wanted her crop to empty. She's got access to water with probiotics but shes not drinking. Was barely able to stand this morning. Now seated in the same place for the last several hours. Crop feels squishy/full, not as bad as last night. I'll check my local farm store for the acidified copper. I feel like she is at the end of her road despite all the effort. I wish I had been able to diagnose the vent gleet which led to the sour crop sooner. :-( Tried to syringe some probotic liquid and she's not taking it, and I don't want to aspirate her. I'm feeling like it might be time to uthanize her.

UPDATE: Headed to the grocery store to get some dry ice. I don't want her to suffer more than she already has and I don't see her pulling out of this.

She passed peacfully before I even had the chance to uthanize her. Burried her in a beautiful spot with a gorgeous mountain view. R.I.P. Skylar.

I am so sorry that you lost your beautiful Skylar. I truly believe that she felt the love and care that you had for her. You did a great job caring for her.
