MY CHICKENS ARE KILLING EACH OTHER!!

Last night we had a bad storm..this morning I checked on my six chickens and a rooster..and found one hen dead

I'm sorry to hear that. Depending on your set up is it possible she was trampled? Or even sick prior to the storm?

Do you think it was a natural cause or predator? I have found birds dead too once in a very great while for no apparent reason. Maybe a heart attack. You never know.

Sorry to hear of your loss. How much room do your birds have, if they are crowded they will get nasty with each other. Have you recently added new birds to your existing flock?

My flock is two years old have plety of room i introduced new flock last year after they spent four months mingling betweem fence they have able to free range on daily basis been happy birds then all sudden this my older birds dead and wounded i know its rest of flock no evidence of predator amd blood on survivors just dont know what happened

Its very strange all research and preping never prepared me for this particular situation they were all happy two days ago they've. Had plenty food space water but it was my older birds that were victoms

Are you absolutely POSITIVE that it wasn't a predator? Because although chickens can be vicious, this sounds very extreme. Have you checked for gaps in your coop? Are there any parts of any of the chickens missing?

Positive no predator no parts missing do daily check og run and coop and last night heard rucus in coop went out there and caught rest of flock pecking next dead bird blood on beaks of guilty the three thats left
