My chickens are unruly!

I just wondered if any of you have chickens that come after you? Lol.. When I go in the pen, they come flocking towards me and surround me. A couple of them have nearly come after me, I think. One pecked my shoe once.

Why do they do this? They see me a lot and I feed them.

You answered your own question. They flock to you because you are the food provider. Mine do this too and will jump up to try to grab treats out of my hands if I'm too slow in giving them to them!

Ok. We'll go with that. I was reading online and found an article that said they are related to the T-Rex. Lol.. I can believe it.
