I can think of a million scenarios where they might not.

The OP never mentioned free range. Just grape leaves with no mention as to how they happened to get to the leaves.

But the average chicken will eat a quarter pound of feed a day, pellets, grain, greens, bugs, maybe more styrofoam.....

Mine go to town on styrofoam.

FYI. It depends on the kind of grape. I grow Thompson and Villard blanc because being of Middle Eastern descent I make rolled grape leaves. My girls really go for them. Those grape leaves are tender and have an all together different flavor than others.

I tried to make rolled grape leaves from our blue grape vine leaves (Boskoop Glory) . It didn’t work. Didn’t know the kind of grape is important bc the recipe didn’t mention it. Do you know if leaves of white grapes are in general better to use for rolled grape leaves? If so could try once more.

Not all white grape leaves are suitable for rolling; the best ones are from specific varieties like Thompson Seedless (these are the leaves usually sold in jars), Villard Blanc or Sultana. It's important to pick your leaves when they're young and aren't too tough (and not treated with pesticides).
I have two Thompson's in my grow room. They give beautiful big leaves that are easy to roll.
