My chickens don't like me.

I feel your pain. My chickens are free range, they can get ALL the treats they want from me, they are petted and cuddled and always have food and water, and they sometimes come to me! Literaly! But one day I wear or hold something they are afraid of, they will run away from me after that even when I don't have it and its starting all over again, I have to wait a few weeks to win thier trust with food. AND I AM SO ANGRY RIGHT NOWW!!

I don't know what to say, but use treats like corn or table scraps and veggies and bread and such, they'll do anything for foods they like.
