My chickens eyes are “glued shut”

Is there anything else I can give him, he still is congested and seems to be staying the same I put triple antibiotics in his eyes and vitamin B complex in his water but he still doesn’t seem to be changing

I couldn’t find a vet and the substance is illegally without a prescription so I can’t buy any and he’s getting worse it seem and idk what to do

What is illegal?

Hard to know what to do unless you can order some antibiotics or see a vet.
Bubbles in the eye like that can be an indication of Mycoplasma, but there can be secondary infection from other bacteria involved too.
Flushing the eyes, pressing out and removing all the pus and applying an eye ointment like Terramycin at least a couple of times a day may be helpful. Keeping his nostrils wiped out too.

Sadly, if you are dealing with a respiratory disease, he will be a carrier all his life. He can spread the illness to other birds and during times of stress/weakness, he may become sick again once he recovers. Disease like Mycoplasma does respond fairly well to antibiotic treatment so that is something to look into. Some people cull birds that are symptomatic - all this is really up to you.

If you lose him, it would be a good idea to get some testing done to find out what you have been dealing with.

You might be able to get it this week if ordered soon. Dosage is 1 tsp per gallon of water for 5 days. An alternative would be to get oxytetracycline (LA 200) from a feed store in the refrigerated medicines, and give him 1/4 ml twice a day for 7 days. As Wyorp Rock said, bubbles in eyes can be MG or mycoplasma. It can make cariiers of him and the res of your flock. Here is some reading :

Terramycin I believe is illegal and you have to have a prescription for it, and he’s not doing well at all, I hope he does better but I’m from lower Michigan and idk where a good bird doctor is

Terramycin may not be available or found in some stores, but generally you can order it online through supply houses without a prescription. Some states may be restricted, but it's worth a shot seeing if you can order it. Try Jedds. As for finding a vet, you will need to do a local search and call around to see if any treat poultry. A lot of vets, while very good with other animals may not be familiar with poultry. In the meantime, I would continue to clean out the eyes 2-3 times a day and use original Neosporin in the eyes to help give him a bit of relief. Does he have a lot of mucous or plaques inside the beak too?

There is a brand of oxytetracycline to trreat the water called Terramycin, but most oral antibiotics were removed off shelves in 2017. Currently you can get some injectable antibiotics in feed stores, including oxytetracycline. That may soon change. Tylan or tylosin powder for the water is only available online without a prescription because it is for pigeons. I hope that clarifies a few things.

We have been putting neosporin in his eyes for about 2 weeks morning and night and I will try Jedds,
