My chickens have black spot on their combs

My 2 ISA Browns have had perfectly good combs their entire lifes. I went out their today an one of them had a decent sized black spot on the comb that looked almost like a scab. Then I noticed the other one had more spots but they were smaller. should I be worried? i am very Nervous.

Black spots or scabs on combs can be from peck wounds that have drawn blood (white turns black.) Can you post a picture or two?

they have gone away so i think it is a scab

One of them has this. Different chicken. There was sime old chicken wire sticking out that she could have scratched her head on.

Yes, I would agree that it looks like she has injured herself on something sharp.
