Today I noticed that one of my Isa browns had long white worms in her poop. All of the other chickens have very small sized poops. I'm hoping diatomaceous earth will do the trick, but this is my first flock and I'm trying to treat this without chemicals if I can. It has been raining for 2 weeks and they are partial free range. Please let me know what has worked before for deworming.

Do you have any photos of the worms?
Where are you located? US?

Sounds like roundworms. You can use Fenbendazole (Safeguard Liquid Goat Wormer) or Valbazen (Albendazole) to treat roundworms in chickens.

Dosage for Fenbendazole to treat roundworms only is 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally once, then repeat in 10 days.

Dosage for Valbazen is 0.08ml per pound of weight given orally once, then repeat in 10 days.

DE in not effective as a de-wormer.
