REALLY need to see a picture...the only thing I can think of that can cause scales to raise up to the point of falling off is Scaley leg mites. Is there gunk under the scales making them pull away from the leg?

In my opinion that is definately scaly leg mites and looks very advanced - treat with vaseline or some olive oil or any mineral oil you have.

If using vaseline it is a good idea to massage it well into the raised scale area thoroughy.

You will need to keep treating her for some weeks!

Thats one heck of a case of scaley leg mites! The BEST wayu to get rid of them: scrape all the gunk out from under the scales [ you can use a nail file or a paring knife] and cover the feet in either vaseline or NuStock and in a few days scapre again what has loosened up and recover. Will take awhile for the skin and scales to recooperate from this.

x2. And those nails are quite long. You may want to file those down too. And for the scaly leg mites, you can put bag balm on the legs too. :)
