They only go inside at bedtime they have free run of the yard all day so I don't have a run per day but I can hose off the places where they hang out?

Sometimes they spread out in the sand? They have shade under the banana tree it's a huge tree and other overhanging trees. I always have water available for them should I hose off a bit? When it's hottest?
I'm in sw florida so high is about 95 everyday. Should I maybe throw ice in their water?

They will do that, that's normal

most likely dust bathing or chillin' out.
Mine spread out in the dirt when it's hot, I think they dig down and find cooler earth to lay in.
