Albert is broody! Ever since we moved them to the aviary she has been acting a little weird. Now she's decided to make a nest in some weeds growing through the mesh. It's day one and she seems to be taking her mothering buisness very seriously. Her mate is sitting beside her. I really hope she is a devoted mum. It would be awesome to see some chicks raised by their mother. I don't have too high hopes yet. If she pulls through I will be pleasantly suprised. I'll keep you posted.

You may have seen ... Mine hatched her own chicks! And I'm no expert. Is my first coturnix quail ever. Sounds promising though so will definitely be looking out for your updates!!
