I think you really need to tell your husband. If something were to happen (hopefully not) then he will know where to start. Keeping him in the dark whether 'he can do anything about it or not' is not the way to go. Just tell him you are having some issues and you have everything under control. Does he (schwann man) stop by your neighbors first? If so, have her call you and give you heads up that he is on his way so you can decide to answer the door or not if he stops. Maybe he will leave another note and that will be the end. I would sacrifice the rainbow sherbert for a peice of mind. Again, you need to tell your husband. Put yourself in his shoes. I hope this gets resolved.

I didn't read all 15 pages (horrible head cold) but yikes mama. I don't think you're overreacting. Do you know any neighbors who but the same product-have you asked them about him? I would be creeped out by this even at my home, which is in a densely populated neighborhood.

I will still think on telling my husband, too. Just not sure yet. I am capable of taking care of myself and he knows it, but he worries so much. Which is good, I know he loves us, but I hate to worry him, too. Right now I am just letting him feel all happy and excited over the new chickies that arrived today.....5 of which are his dream chickies. He has been in Turkey less than two weeks. He needs to focus on good things right now and get settled in.

Ya need to geta clip on belt holster for what ever pistol ya have now. Put it where you can grab it a clip it on your belt on the way to the door. Even tho a 9mm may have more stopping power, on your hip they all have the same intimidation level. At least a fake security camera would help to.

I conceal carry a NAA 22 deranger revolver everywhere. I also open carry a 38 revolver every where that the law allows. Everyone knows that if they see me with a gun then I have one more they don't see.


If you feal the need for something bigger, Google "The Judge" an see what you think. Can ya tell I like revolvers, they never jam.

I dont think your overreacting. Get the dog, get the gun and tell the neighbors. I once rescued an abused and neglected white english bulldog from our local Humane Society when I was single and living alone in a bad neighborhood. That dog worshipped the ground I walked on from moment one and she was a great dog with kids and my family and other dog and respected my things. But she would put herself between me and any strange men and if she felt any bad vibes she would die trying to tear them to shreds. She was an awesome dog. Unfortenately she had an advanced case of Heartworms when I rescued her and it was too late for her, the treatment didnt save her. But for a few months out of her life she was loved and cared for and pampered.
