I'm setting eggs this evening... Thought I would set 40 and then realized my incubator holds 42

Mine are going to be a barnyard mix, buying 3 dozen (friend backed out of wanting hers) heritage breed mix and then setting 6 of my own, I have an EE mix rooster that has started covering the two Ancona's I have, interested in what the babies will look like.

LOL, Make that 41... The last one sat up against the motor on the turner, wasn't happy about that...Why put 42 egg slots in the turner if a full 42 wont fit??

its fine with 41 eggs.......the matter is that it should be fine while turning.....

hey i thought that my hen will be uncomfortable with 15 eggs but with GOD grace they all r fine and my hen is also doing good with them..today its day 10...more 10 to go .hoping the the end will be fine with GOD grace

Egg 16 and 8 are on day four, the others are on day five. Egg 14 has nail polish on it.

Its doing great, all eggs are turning nicely... Only 20 more days to go
